Spring
is the time for new things.
Every
culture, every religion, every country celebrates
the return of the SUN or commonly called Spring.
|
After
three months of darkness, we celebrate the return
of longer days and basking in the heat from the
rays of warmth that radiates from the Sun’s
fiery core. Through the rising of the Sun all
of nature springs forward with new life and so
does humankind. In both nature and our own individual
life, Spring is the time for the greatest amount
of growth and expansion. It is the time when most
people change residents, careers and relationships.
It is the time for a new beginning. Read

AFFIRMATION
To
Affirm anything is to claim it as being so! Each edition
presents an affirmation that will aid in your goal for
self-actualization. This issue’s affirmation is:
| The
time is perfect for me to implement plans. Thank
you for releasing old patterns of thought and embodying
new thoughts that represent a greater aspect of
self. Thank you for the courage to move forward
and to renew my mind and body. I now release negative
thoughts, feelings and relationships. Thank you
for spring, this is the time for new birth, and
I claim a newness in my own personal experience.
Thank you God; and so it is. |

Louis
D. Alston grew up in Neward, N.J. He began
working with computers early in 1986 after being trained
by I.B.M. He turned down a permanent position with them
in order to explore the possibilities other companies
had to offer. This exploration turned into numerous
contractual, project related opportunities with many
companies of all sizes.
A
computer professional for hire, he helped companies
create and implement solutions to fulfill their immediate
business needs. Writing mostly database, accounting
and process automation applications he stayed with a
company for weeks or months, moving to different departments
or companies as immediate needs were satisfied and new
ones arose. He has grown as the industry has grown,
designing, coding and implementing many kinds of systems
from payroll processing to payphone management. Companies
he has contracted for include: Citibank, Chemical Bank,
Prudential, Proctor & Gamble, Georgia Pacific, Coca-Cola,
Delta Airlines, BellSouth and most recently ApartmentGuide.com
where he designed and implemented the database which
feeds their site.
Louis,
however, is a true hero for hire. He also used his experience
to impact many startups and growing businesses, acting
as an on-call IT department for companies that simply
do not have the budget or the desire to maintain a full-time
staff. Louis left the New York metropolitan area at
the end 1990, and, after a short stay in the Delaware/Philadelphia/Baltimore
area, he moved to and settled in Atlanta. He now lives
with his family in Lithonia, Georgia where he continues
to hone his technological skills and perfect his ability
to define and satisfy the computer related needs of
businesses in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Today
that primarily involves establishing a business’s
presence on the internet. He designs internet sites
not merely to give businesses a catalog of static pages
on the web, but to impact a business’s bottom
line by having them employ technology and the internet
in a way that represents their mission and interests
while growing their business’s productivity and
profit. His newly renamed and revamped company All Stone
Technologies (formerly Abacus-Legends) is available
to provide analysis, training, design and development
for companies of all sizes. His team *can* make a difference
for you. Contact them for a free consultation.
