THE PROGRAM

The Program

If our basic needs are met then there is no blockage present. However, if any need is not met then a blockage becomes evident, which is manifested in our mental attitude and behavior, which directly affects our physical environment. All blockages are known to influence the physical and mental health of the individual.

Hierarchy of Needs
Blockage
Manifestation
Need to Actualize the Self Fear, Lack of Knowledge

Lack of Fulfillment

Need for Esteem Lack of Drive or Worth Inability to Move, Stagnation
Need for Love & Belonging Lack of Self-Love Unsatisfactory & Unhealthy Relationships
Safety & Security Need Basic need for a safe environment not satisfied
Physiological Needs Basic need for life sustaining substances not satisfied

PROVISIONS
Providing Basic Needs (i.e. food & shelter), Developing a Plan for Self-Sufficiency

The Provisions Division is designed to help satisfy the Physiological Needs and Safety and Security Needs of an individual. These are our most basic needs. Physiological Needs includes the need for oxygen, water, food, maintenance of a pH balance (getting too acidic or base will kill you), to get rid of wastes (CO2, sweat, urine, and feces) and temperature (98.6 or near to it). It also includes basic human needs like the need for activity, rest, sleep, to avoid pain, and to have a clear sexual identification.

Safety and Security Needs introduces the necessity for a safe, secure and stable environment. This is where the need for structure, order and some limits are necessary. In ordinary American adults, this set of needs manifest themselves in the urge to have a home in a safe neighborhood, job security, a nest egg, a good retirement plan, insurance, and so on.

Of course, if these basic needs are not met, ones total consumption is on trying to satisfy them. The Center's primary focus on this level is assisting participants in the satisfaction of their need for food and shelter. We provide loving hands of support by supplying Transitional Housing for women and children and permanent housing placement. Our focus is on satisfying the basic requirements so we can inspire self-sufficiency. If these basic needs are not met, then one becomes stuck in this stage of evolution until they are satisfied.

ESSENSE
Self-Identification
Developing Self-Love, Belonging, Spiritual Identification

The Need for Self-Identification or the need for Love and Belonging is on the second level of our steps toward self-actualization. When the physiological and safety needs are, by in large, met a third layer starts to show up. You begin to feel the need for friends, a sweetheart, children, and even a sense of community. If not satisfied a blockage is formed, which is often manifested as loneliness and social anxieties.

In our day-to-day life, we exhibit these needs in our desires to marry, have a family, be a part of a community, a member of a church, a brother in a fraternity, a part of a gang or even a bowling league. The need for Love and Belonging also influences our career choices.

The Center's goal is to provide coaching, workshops, classes, support groups, books and articles that will aid in the development of self-love, spiritual identification and loving relationships.

ASSURANCE
Self-Confident
Developing Positive Esteem, Drive and Self-Worth, Creative Center

Once we have developed loving relationships we begin to look for a little self-esteem. Maslow noted a lower and higher version of esteem needs. The lower one is ego driven, manifesting as the need for respect from others, the need for status, fame, recognition, attention, reputation, appreciation, dignity, and even dominance. The higher form involves the need for self-respect, including such feelings as confidence, competence, achievement, mastery, independence and freedom. The higher form of 'esteem needs' is the focus of the Center. Once you believe in yourself and have self-respect and confidence you are well on your way to self-actualization.

If the higher level of 'self-esteem' needs is not met the result is low self-esteem, low self-worth and an inferiority complex, which is manifested in our physical life as poor relationships, stagnation and the inability to advance. The need for love and belonging and the need for self-esteem seem to be at the root of most of our psychological problems on this planet. In modern countries, most have what is required to satisfy our physiological and safety needs. It is the need for self-love, respect and confidence that seems to be missing. The Center satisfies these needs by providing coaching, workshops, classes, support groups, books and articles that serve as motivators in embracing self-esteem and worth.

All the needs we've discussed so far can gravely affect a person overall mental and physical health. If you lack something or as Maslow termed it if you have a deficit, you emotionally feel that something is missing. Thus, you search out to satisfy it. Not knowing what the need is, many attempt to satisfy the need by searching out something outside themselves, instead of understanding that the need must be satisfied from within first.

IMPLEMENT
Self-Fulfillment
Utilizing Potential

Once you have the self-esteem needs satisfied you are well on your way to self-actualization. The next step is beginning to use your potential. We all have a purpose; a reason for being and it is here that you find your true gifts. This step requires one to be spiritual centered, where he is not looking outside himself for others to define his abilities but finds his potential deep within.

The need for freedom of expression enters at this point of your evolution; this is where entrepreneurs are developed, inventors are born and creative thoughts come alive. This level demands the mind to long for more, a job that offers limited challenges is no longer enough, and an unsatisfactory relationship no longer serves. You are no longer an average person; your desire for self-fulfillment and self-satisfaction sets you apart.

The Center supports by offering coaching entrepreneur services, classes, workshops, support groups, books and articles that will help you begin to step out and live the life you've always longed for.

SELF-ACTUALIZATION

You've made it to SELF-ACTUALIZATION! Unfortunately, the journey doesn't stop here, but the 'needs' does. You no longer have a deficit, you now have what Maslow called 'growth motivation'. This is the continuous desire to fulfill your potential, to be all that you were created to be, to go beyond, to reach new levels, to expand and to continuously grow. This is where you seek to be your most Fullest Self, your God Self or your Actual Self.

The Center helps the self-actualized person by continually offering life-expanding courses, workshops, books and articles. We further assist the self-actualizer through support and mastermind groups.

The journey to fulfill your potential never stops!
